Everything You Need to Know About eliteBDC
Find answers to common questions about how eliteBDC works, how we communicate with customers, CRM processes, appointment setting, hours of operation, and more. If you don’t see your question below, our team is always happy to help.
What holidays are you closed?
eliteBDC has the ability to provide coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year based on your business needs.
With your approval, our team typically observes Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day, and closes early on Christmas Eve. However, we understand that every business has different needs, and holiday coverage can be customized as part of your service plan.
Do you just call customers without looking up their records?
No. We are not an automated dialer. Before reaching out, our agents take the time to review the customer’s history so they understand the opportunity and can have a more informed, personalized conversation.
As part of that process, we can also identify and merge duplicate records, update incorrect contact information, and help keep your CRM clean and accurate.
At eliteBDC, we believe quality is just as important as quantity. The goal isn’t simply to make more calls—it’s to make every customer interaction count.
Do you inform customers that you will be meeting with them and that you work here?
We let customers know that eliteBDC works alongside your dealership’s management team to assist with their experience and help coordinate their visit.
When scheduling an appointment, we typically recommend having the customer ask for the Showroom Director, a designated manager, or their previous Sales Consultant when they arrive. This helps create a smooth handoff from our team to yours and ensures the customer knows exactly who to connect with at the dealership.
Our goal is to operate as a seamless extension of your team while making the customer’s experience as simple and consistent as possible.
If our sales team enters a duplicate record as a phone-up or walk-in, can you merge them for us?
Yes. Identifying and merging duplicate records is one of the first steps we take when actively working a customer file.
Our team reviews the customer’s information and history to help ensure we’re working from the most accurate and complete record possible. This not only keeps your CRM cleaner, but also helps prevent duplicate outreach, confusion, and an inconsistent customer experience.
It’s all part of our commitment to quality customer engagement and better CRM management.
When do you stop contacting the customer?
Our goal is to provide consistent follow-up without interfering with your team or creating a negative customer experience. We will pause or stop contacting a customer when:
- Your dealership is actively working with the customer that day. If your team becomes too busy, we can resume follow-up as needed.
- The customer is currently in the showroom. If they do not purchase, we can begin unsold showroom or save-a-deal follow-up.
- The customer has hung up on our team twice.
- The customer tells us they were declined for financing.
- The customer specifically requests to work only with their Sales Consultant or a Manager at the dealership.
- The customer tells us they have already purchased a vehicle. We will confirm that they have taken delivery and completed the necessary paperwork.
- The customer has been marked sold or pending in the CRM.
- The customer requests to be placed on your Do Not Call, Do Not Text, or Do Not Email list. We respect all communication preferences and opt-out requests.
- Your dealership asks us to stop contacting the customer.
Because every dealership operates differently, we can also customize follow-up rules and processes to align with your store’s preferences and customer engagement strategy.
